Role Overview:
The Executive Director will lead Daurama Foundation, setting strategic direction, expanding our impact, and ensuring operational excellence. This role requires an experienced leader with a deep commitment to gender equality and a proven track record in nonprofit management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans that align with the foundation’s mission and maximise impact.
  • Lead fundraising efforts, including grant writing, donor relations, and developing new funding streams.
  • Oversee the foundation’s operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and financial health.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, donors, NGO partners, and community leaders.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the foundation’s team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Ensure the organisation’s programs are effectively monitored, evaluated, and adapted to meet the needs of the communities we serve.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in social sciences, public administration, business management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ leadership experience in the non-profit sector, with a focus on gender equality, public health, or social development.
  • Demonstrated success in fundraising, strategic planning, and organisational development.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in advancing women’s rights and empowerment in Nigeria.
