Our work aims to reduce neonatal mortality rates in Nigeria by providing educational outreach, advocacy, essential birthing kits for expectant mothers, and training for healthcare professionals. A critical significance of both prenatal and postnatal care in ensuring the well-being of mothers and newborns.
Eliminating
Domestic Violence
Eliminating Domestic Violence
Our dedication to eliminating gender-based violence aligns with the objectives of SDG 5, promoting gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls. We empower survivors and advocate for their rights through educational campaigns, 24-hour helplines, and access to legal aid and counselling services. This concerted effort contributes to the creation of safer, more equitable communities, an imperative aspect in realising genuine gender equality by 2030.
Menstrual
Health & Hygiene
Menstrual Health & Hygiene
Promoting menstrual health is vital for achieving the objectives of SDG 6, which focuses on universal access to clean water and sanitation. Our efforts involve supplying crucial sanitary kits and offering education on menstrual hygiene, aiming to eliminate obstacles to education and social engagement for young girls. By prioritising the management of menstrual health with dignity, this initiative not only advances hygiene and well-being but also bolsters educational achievement and gender equality, making a substantial contribution to the 2030 sustainable development agenda.
Feeding Program
Feeding Program
Daurama Foundation tackles food insecurity in Nigeria through a comprehensive feeding program, aligning with SDG 2: Zero Hunger. This initiative strives to eliminate malnutrition and its devastating effects on children’s development and well-being. By addressing immediate hunger needs through food distribution, coupled with education and sustainable practices, Daurama Foundation’s Feeding Program lays the groundwork for a healthier and brighter future for Nigerian children and families.
