Role Overview:
The Program Officer will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and monitoring of Daurama Foundation’s projects. This position requires a highly motivated, innovative, and proactive individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of women and girls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate programs in line with Daurama Foundation’s mission and goals.
  • Engage with communities to assess needs and develop program strategies that address critical issues within our focus areas.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including local communities, government agencies, and other NGOs, to enhance program impact.
  • Monitor and report on program progress, challenges, and outcomes, ensuring alignment with SDGs and organisational objectives.
  • Manage program budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Conduct research and gather data to inform program design and policy advocacy.
  • Represent Daurama Foundation at conferences, workshops, and public events to raise awareness of our work and forge strategic partnerships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, public health, development studies, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in program management, preferably in the non-profit sector.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
